Wilma Ashcraft Mummey

It is with deep sorrow that we note the passing of Wilma Ashcraft Mummey, who died May 6, 1997 in Columbus, Ohio. Wilma had been an active member of the Mummey Reunion. For years, she made the beverages for the reunion, often with the help of her daughters Charlotte and Doris. The lemonade she made was a special delight, and it was a highlight of the reunion for many, especially on those hot summer days when the reunion was held outdoors at Beverly.

Wilma wasn't able to attend the Mummey reunion in recent years, but only because it has been the same day as the Ashcraft reunion. We know she still maintained an active interest in the family.

Wilma was born in 1909 and married Cecil Mummey on November 9, 1927, who preceded her in death in 1948. In addition to her two daughters, Wilma is survived by a son, Dean.
