PAULINE "POLLY" EVELYN KLEIBER


Pauline "Polly" Evelyn Kleiber, 66, of Marysville died Tuesday, July 11,
2000, at Riverside Methodist Hospital after an extended illness.
She was employed with the former Citizens Federal Savings and Loan Company
for several years and retired as a branch manager. She was a 56-year member
of the Marysville First United Methodist Church of which she became a
member on April 4, 1944, and she was a 1951 graduate of Marysville High
School.

She enjoyed yard work with her husband and researching her family history
on computer. She was very interested in the Amish culture and especially
enjoyed her children and grandchildren.

She was born Nov. 3, 1933, in Marysville to the late Robert and Ethel
Henderson Mummey and was predeceased by two sisters, Dorothy Means and Ruth
Mummey and a brother, Robert Mummey Jr.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 48 years, George E. Kleiber whom
she married Aug. 9, 1952; a daughter, Shelley (Bill) Gonzales of
Marysville; a son, Michael (Cindy) Kleiber of Urbana; four grandchildren,
Tracy and Lisa Kleiber and Ashley and Aaron Gonzales; a sister, Helen
(John) Smith of Marysville; an aunt, Ruth Roof of Dayton; and many nieces,
nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Mannasmith-Hale
Funeral Home. The Rev. John Osborn will officiate and burial will be at
Oakdale Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
