During the late spring and summer of 2005, Junior, above, and Penelope, right, watched over their three youngsters, fed them when they were hungry, and showed them how to hunt. During this time Junior, especially, was hunting day and night.
All three of the triplets are in the same tree. The two boys, Bilbo and Gandolf, are near the top of this picture while Aurora keeps to her self on a lower branch.

The two brothers stick close together. Here they roost on the same branch (above) and groom each other (below).
Aurora
Aurora was the first of the triplets to fledge in 2005 and the last to be seen before the owls entered seclusion for their August molt.
