Hardy's Birds

This is why the little Tree Swallow doesn't want to leave the nest just yet; it's hungry and is looking for the next meal to arrive.

"Dinner is served." That's what you call room service!

"Thanks, Mom. Hurry back; I'll wait right here for you."

A female Ruby-throated Hummingbird visits the feeder for some sugar water.

A Brown Thrasher looks for something to eat in the Hardy's lawn.

Mick tells us "This is a baby cardinal that must have left the nest too early and was being fed on the ground by both parents. They finally coaxed him under a pine tree."

Our thanks to Mick and Connie Hardy for all the fine pictures on this page.
