These White Ibis flew across the open scrub of Paynes Prairie and landed in the top of a dead tree.
A hawk cruises over the prairie, ever watchful for a rodent or other quarry.
The Northern Parula winters from southern Florida to Cuba, Mexico, and Central America. They migrate to the southeastern USA, and southern Canada. They are uncommon. We found this one in Pear Park near Leesburg.
