Another Mourning Dove accidentally made this self-portrait on Gracie Suko's window. It was being chased by a hawk and flew full-speed into the window. Oils in its feathers traced a perfect outline of the dove including wings, bill, and even eyes. The dove did survive both the collision and the hawk. Our thanks to Gracie for this picture.
