Standard Ball Logos
These are the standard logo authorized by the company on normal production jars. The distinguishing features are:
Ø Third L loop (See Logo I)
Ø Ascender or dropped A (Logos 1&2)
Ø Underscore (all except Logo 3)
Ø Open or closed bottom loop of the B (Logos 4&5)
Hybrid versions exist. Mold variations are common, especially among the earlier logos, when hand cutting was common. Date ranges are estimates.

Triple L (1900-1910) The loop after the second L looks like a

Logo 3No Underscore (1923-1933) The underscore and the ascender in front of the A are both removed |
