Notes:

 

There is a great variety in Ball Sure Seal jars.  The early ones have regular-size mouth openings, later ones are wide-mouth.  Some have double and quad helixes on the lip, indicating they were made on the E. B. Ball machine patented in 1902.  The neck styles vary, using both the full-wire and the dimple.  The full-wire jars may have bulged necks.

 

The Ball Ideal replaced the regular-sized jars and the Ball Eclipse replaced the wide-mouth jars.
