Fruit Jar Get-Together

The Fruit Jar Get-Together was on Saturday, July 7. See Fruit Jar Get-Together for pictures of this meeting and some of the items shown.


Awards were presented to the exhibitors whose displays were voted the best in several categories. See Display Awards for pictures of these folks.


1. Dick Cole brought display Things I found When I Cleaned my Closet.

2. Jean Harbron showed a display titled McDonnell Patent July 14, 1908.

3. Wayne & June Lowry won both the Dealer's Choice and the People's Choice awards with 45 + Rare Pints.

4. Dave Rittenhouse displayed Odd Closure Pints.

5. Mike Keith showed a variety of Wax Sealers.

6. Joe Coulson won the Most Educational Award with Buffalo Jars.

7. Janet Lee display showed Jamming Through the Years.

8. Junne Barnett showed photos and posters from early fruit jar times.
