These are pictures of the exhibition floor Sunday, January 9, 2011 at the Winter Show of the Midwest Antique Fruit Jar and Bottle Club at the Horizon Convention Center in Muncie, Indiana. More pictures and a report will be published in the January issue of Glass Chatter by the Midwest Antique Fruit Jar and Bottle Club.

The doors opened at 9:00 AM and shoppers poured in.

Dealers had their tables ready with a wide variety of glass wares.

This young lad is already an active collector.

A dealer from Iowa had numerous insulators.

These items are from antique lightning rods.

Fruit Jar Get-Together

The Fruit Jar Get-Together was on Saturday, Jan. 8. See Fruit Jar Get-Together for pictures of this meeting and some of the items shown.


Awards were presented to the exhibitors whose displays were voted the best in several categories. See Display Awards for pictures of these folks.


1. Joe Coulson revealed his Ball Jar Dream Christmas.

2. Wanda Yoder and Jean Harbron connected the Gayner Glass Works Salem NJ and Lynchburg Glass Corporation Lynchburg VA.

3. Tom Sproat made a display with free blown glass jars of the 1800's titled Be Free.

4. Donavan Wilson made his point with Not all Jars are Ball Jars.

5. Dave Rittenhouse showed Wax Sealers along with the things needed to make them seal.
